Joan (Joann) Dupree Stone DRY BRANCH – Joan (Joann) Dupree Stone, 79 of Old Franklinton Rd. passed away Friday at her residence. A Gathering of Family and Friends, to Celebrate Joann’s Life will be held Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 2:00PM at 320 Plentitude Church Rd, Gray, GA 31032. Mrs. Stone was born May 31, 1942 in Macon, GA, the daughter of the late William Ernest and Lonnie Dupree. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Stone, daughter Sherry Stone, Grandchildren, Angela Jackson, Ashley and Jeffrey McKuhen, Great Grand Children, Taylor Bowen and Caitland Higdon, Her brothers, Jimmy, Bobby and Ronnie Dupree. Her Sisters, Idalou Dupree, Rosalee Jackson, Johnny Ruth Adkins and her Son in Law Alan Helmuth. Joann was a retired Supervisor with Rock-Tenn Mill. She loved to cook and spend time with her family. Survivors include Son, Jack “Buddy” (Amanda) Stone of Elberton, GA. Daughters, Dianne Lucas and Austin of Dry Branch, Jackie Helmuth of Gray, Beverly (Mark) Jackson of Dry Branch. Sisters, Hazel (Bubba) Atkinson, Brothers, Otis (Dorothy) Dupree and Tommy Dupree. Twelve Grandchildren and Twenty One Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandchild.
