Joel Hardy “Joe” Cannon MONTROSE – Joel Hardy “Joe” Cannon”, 87, of Old Macon Rd. passed away Monday February 7, 2022 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Thursday February 10, 2022 at 11:00am, in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Rev. Jeff Alligood and Rev. Billy Wicker will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Cannon was born in Montrose, GA, the son of the late Hardy B. and Elleott Cook Cannon. He was the widow of the late Shirley Williams Cannon, and was preceded in death by his sister Mae C. Merritt. Mr. Cannon was retired from Robins Air Force Base as a Procurement Agent, and served his country in the United States Army. He attended the University of Georgia and was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include, his daughters, Deborah (Randy) Manning and Kimberly (Woodrow) Little; brothers, James R. Cannon and Jesse Patrick Cannon; grandchildren, Jennifer (Adam) Burke, Amanda (David) Gosnell, Michele Kimbro, Rebecca Little Duffey, Jolie (Jason) Clark; great grandchildren, Ella Gosnell, Lexington Gosnell, Charlie Duffey, David Gosnell, Lillian Duffey, Morgan Nobles and Mallory Nobles; niece, Suzanne Cannon Arthur and nephew Fehl Cannon.
