MACON – Karen Sue Howard, 60, of Jeffersonville Rd., passed away Saturday in Macon.

Services will be held Saturday September 2, 2023 at 11:00am at Henderson Road Baptist Church, in Jones County. Rev. Daniel Hollomon will officiate.

Mrs. Howard was born in Macon, GA the daughter of the late Monteen Wooden Brack. She was the widow of the late Lamar Howard, and was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Evans Royal, her brothers, Frankie Evans and Dennis Brack, and by her grandparents Durell and Emma Wooden. Karen was a former employee of the Huddle House and was a member of Henderson Road Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sister, Judy Clance. Nieces, Casey (Mitch) Johnson, Katherine Crenshaw, and Beverly Royal. Nephews, Jason (Jeanne) Clance, and John (Summer) Clance. Several great nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
