Kelly Allen Floyd JEFFERSONVILLE - Kelly Allen Floyd, 84, went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 29, 2020. Services will be held Wednesday December 2, 2020 at 2:00PM at Prospect United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Smith, Elder Dan Bryant and Rev. Nick Hazleton will officiate. Mr, Floyd was born in Twiggs County, the son of the late Tom and Alberta F. Floyd. He was preceded in death by his Sister Elizabeth F. Wood, his Brothers Andrew Floyd, Holbert Floyd, Jordan Floyd, and Tommy Floyd, his Brother in laws, Roy Wood Sr., and Johnny B. Lynn. Mr. Kelly was retired after 36 years from Robins Air Force Base and for 18 years was currently serving as Bailiff for the Twiggs County Superior Court. He was a member of the Jeffersonville Assembly of God with Prospect United Methodist Church being very close to his heart. Mr. Kelly loved singing and going to gospel sings. He sang in gospel groups for many years and in the choir at church where he helped lead singing for many years. Kelly loved to testify about his Lord. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include his Wife, Gloria Sims Floyd, his Daughter, Renee (Tony) McCoy Grandchildren: Jessica Smith, Micah Smith, Katie (Mike) Axtel, Sarah (Robert) Smith, and Johnathan McCoy. Great Granddaughter, Toni Smith. His Sister, Julia Agnes F. Lynn, and Sister in law, Patty Jean Floyd. A host of nieces and nephews.
