Lucy Amelie Wyatt

Lucy Wyatt Jeffersonville, GA – Lucy Amelie Wyatt, 90, passed away February 22, 2022 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 1, 2022 at 2 pm in New Richland Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Smith will be officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Wyatt was born in Pont A Mousson, France to the late Albert Chrysologue and Marie Georger Chrysologue. She was also preceded in death by her husband Lawrence “Red” Wyatt and her daughter Maude Gibbs. Mrs. Wyatt was a member of New Richland Baptist Church for many years and was very active as the Sunday School Director and a Sunday School teacher. She also ministered at the local women’s jail and the local nursing home. Mrs. Wyatt is survived by her children, Patrick Wyatt of Warner Robins, GA, Lawrence Wyatt, Jr. of Warner Robins, GA, Daniel Wyatt (Julieanne) of Woodstock, GA, Sarah Stewart (Bill) of Treasure Island, FL and Kathleen Bennett of Jeffersonville, GA. Five Grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren also survive. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday February 28, 2022 at the funeral home.
