Martin L. Stone JEFFERSONVILLE – Martin Luther Stone, 90, of Ash St. passed away Thursday in Macon. Graveside services will be held Tuesday February 2, 2021 at 2:00PM at Bridgeford Church of God Cemetery in Hazlehurst, GA. Rev. Victor Gilbert, Rev. Wayne Merritt and Rev. Frank Hendrix will officiate. Mr. Stone was born in Hazlehurst, GA the son of the late Clayton Stone and Minnie Lee Burk Stone Pritchett. His wife Faye went to be with the Lord a few hours before Martin. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Hurdie Stone, Tommy Stone, Harlow Stone, and Lowell Stone. His sisters, Ethel Mosley, Adel Pharr, and Estelle Hand. He was a retired Car Man with CSX Railroad. Martin was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War. He was a member of the Jeffersonville Church of God. Survivors include his Daughters, Pamela (Frank) Hendrix, Kim (Wayne) Merritt, and Tanya (Johnny) Massengill. His Sister in law, Dorothy Goss Stone. Nine Grandchildren and Fourteen Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 7:00PM Monday in Reece Funeral Home, and from 12:30PM to 2:00PM in Bridgeford Church of God in Hazlehurst, GA.
