Mary Laws Bivins
EAST DUBLIN – Mary Laws Bivins, 62, of Hwy 319, passed away Friday August 29, 2025 in Dublin.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday September 3, 2025 at 2:00PM in Brewton-Lovett Baptist Church Cemetery in East Dublin.
Mary Bivins was not just a loving mother, but also a best friend to her daughter and others. She was a woman full of laughter, love and faith. She loved NASCAR, cherished time with her friends and family, especially adored her grandson Braxton, who lovingly called her MawMaw. She was like a second mother to many, including countless women who knew her as NaNa and Grandma Mary. She touched the lives of so many people, always offering a helping hand and speaking the truth with a heart of gold. She would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need, even if it meant doing without herself. Her greatest love was for Jesus. Though she bravely fought her battles here on earth, God has now called her home. She is at peace, free from pain and suffering and rejoicing in the presence of her Savior. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her legacy of love, faith, and laughter will live on. As she would often say, "it's not goodbye, it's see you later." Until that day comes, her family will hold tightly to the memories and the example she left behind. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred & Opal Laws and sister Shirley Laws
Survivors include her daughters, Sarah Johnson and her spouse: Nate Johnson, and Laura Gallagher. Her Grandson Braxton Johnson. Her sisters: Sylvia Boone, Joann Yearwood (her spouse Ray), Zella Poole (her spouse Mitchell). Her brothers: Faribea Laws (his spouse Kim). Her dog: Daisy (she loved that dog so much), along with several nieces, nephews, beloved friends that was like family
