DRY BRANCH – Mary Tucker Casteen, 93, of Old Gordon Rd., passed away Monday June 3, 2024 at her residence.

Services will be held Thursday June 6, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church. Burial will be at New Seasons Worship Center Cemetery. Rev. Marty Watson, Rev. Loretta Faulk and Rev. Wesley Bridgers will officiate.

Mrs. Casteen was born in Clinchfield, GA, the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson Tucker and Mary Brigman Tucker. She was the widow of the late Leroy “Roy” Casteen, and was preceded in death by her son Ken Casteen, her daughter Wanda Brown, her granddaughter Rachel Casteen, and her great grandson Connor R. Bower. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where she was on the Communion and Kitchen Committee. She was also a Choir Leader at Dry Branch Congregational Church. “Miss” Mary also volunteered as a “Pink Lady” at the Macon Hospital and uplifted area nursing home residents with song and worship and could be found sitting with seniors who were shut-in. She blessed her grandchildren with love and McDonald’s.

Survivors include her daughter Rosemary Casteen, her son Robert Felix (Deborah) Casteen. Nine Grandchildren, Sixteen Great Grandchildren and Eight Great Great Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for 2:00PM to 3:00PM in Antioch Baptist Church before services, and may be contacted at 5786 Old Gordon Rd., Dry Branch, GA 31020
