Cynthia Stapleton MCINTYRE – Mary Cynthia Stapleton, 83, passed away Wednesday in Dublin. Graveside services will be held Sunday September 26, 2021 at 3:00 pm in New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Wilkinson County. Rev. Samuel Wilson will officiate. Cynthia was born in McIntyre, GA the daughter of the late William Washington “Watt” Stapleton and Bonnie Estelle Reece Stapleton. She was preceded in death by her brother, William R. “Billy” Stapleton and her brother in law Marshall Crook. Cynthia was retired with over fifty years of service as Head Cashier with the Wilkinson County Bank. She was a Baptist. Cynthia was a loving, caring person who devoted her life to caring for and loving on her family and friends. Survivors include her Sister, Janette S. Crook. Nieces, Kim (Sam) Wilson, and Lynne (Phil) Kelley. Nephews, Keith (Penny) Crook, and Scott (Scarlet) Stapleton. Her Sister in Law, Linda Stapleton. Her Great Nieces and Nephews, Caleb (Meghan) Wilson, Hannah Wilson, Zachary Crook, Philip Kelley, and Reece Kelley. Serving as Pallbearers will be Scott Stapleton, Keith Crook, Sam Wilson, Phil Kelley, Caleb Wilson, Elvin Reece, Harold Reece, Jr., E.L. Reece, and Franklin Council.
