MACON – Michael Kenneth “Mike” Keene, 62, of Estes Rd., passed away Tuesday August 5, 2025 at his residence.

A Gathering of Family and Friends to Celebrate Mike’s life will be held from 2:00PM to 4:00PM Sunday August 10, 2025 at Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville.

Mike was born in Macon, GA the son of the late Dr. Kenneth E. Keene and Frances Whatley Keene. Mike went to high school in Texas where he was the Drum Major at Boswell High School. He later attended North Texas State University. Mike was a gifted musician and could write and compose music. Mike’s love for the outdoors led him to a career in building outdoor living spaces for many people and businesses.

Survivors include his partner Phil Walker. His sisters, Karen Keene and Becky (Harold) Reece. His brother Keith Keene. His nieces and nephews, Hunter (Ansley) Harper, Jesse Reece, Alexis Keene, and Ava Keene. His great niece Addy and great nephew Max.
