COCHRAN – Patricia Newby “Winkie” Kitchens, 88, passed away Saturday July 19, 2025 in Cochran.

Services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday July 22, 2025 at Reece Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. George Sheffield and Rev. Tracey Hipps will officiate.

Mrs. Kitchens was born in Danville, GA the daughter of the late George Newby and Mozelle Little Newby Phillips. She was the widow of the late J.M. “Spud” Kitchens, and was preceded in death by her son, Cale Kitchens, her brothers Bradley Newby and Wallace Newby, and by her sister Rhonda N. Hamrick. “Winkie” was a homemaker and a member of Morningside Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son Richard Steven “Steve” (Ann Leigh “Muffy”) Kitchens. Her brothers, Frank Newby and Kenny (Cynthia) Newby. Her sister Sondra Keys.  Three Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces and Nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:00PM before service in the funeral home.
