DANVILLE – Peggy Joyce Vaughan Bloodworth, 90, of Stuckey Rd., Passed away Thursday in Toomsboro.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00PM Monday in Pleasant Plains Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Gary Walker will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM to 3:00PM before services in the cemetery.
Mrs. Bloodworth was born in Macon, GA the daughter of the late George and Annie Mae Marshall Vaughan. She was the widow of the late James Olin “Skeet” Bloodworth, and was preceded in death by her daughters Phyllis Wilborne and Pam Rogers, by her grandchildren, Mason and Danielle, by her great grandchildren, Kaden and Damian. Her Sister, Barbara Davis and Brother, Gene Vaughan. By her Brother in laws, John Hester, Terry Knapp, and Vernon Davis. By her Sister in law Mary Vaughan. “Miss” Peggy was a retired Drapery Seamstress with Drapes by Deb. She was an active member of the Jeffersonville Church of God.
Survivors include her son, Butch (Beth) Bloodworth. Brothers, Weyman (Sue) Vaughan, Chappie (Selena) Vaughan, and Chipper (Tonya) Vaughan. Sisters, Charlotte Hester, Anita (Mel) Walker, Georgia Knapp, and Debbie (Jack) Evans. Grandchildren, Allyson (Forrest) Jones, Allana (Derek) Fox, Ashton (Jenna) Porter, Meagan (Brian) Peavy, Christina (Mike) Robart, Caleigh (Chris) Martin, and Kristina (Josh) Kendall. Great Grandchildren, Cody, Ayla, Riley, Gracelyn, Chloe, Madison, Tanner, Cooper, Evan, Kaiya, Jadyn, Kalia, River, Taylore, Cheyenne, Chase, Easton, Mason, and Gavin.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Sunday in the funeral home.
