Phillip Steven “Steve” Sellers JEFFERSONVILLE - Phillip Steven “Steve” Sellers, 68, of Hamlin Floyd Rd., passed away Friday August 20, 2021 in Dublin. Services will be held Tuesday August 31, 2021 at 11:00AM at Mount Zion Baptist Church, in Danville, GA. Burial will be in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA. Rev. Dwayne Bedingfield will officiate. Mr. Sellers was born in Moultrie, GA, the son of the late Paul Augustus Sellars and Bobbye Jean Paulk Sellars, and was preceded in death by his great grandson, Hope Lui. Steve grew up in Moultrie, GA, attending Moultrie Elementary School, Dougherty Jr High, Dougherty High School, and Crandall Business College. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving during Vietnam War. He was a former employee of the City of Warner Robins Water Treatment Dept. Steve was a POST certified Peace Officer and was the former Chief of Police of Baconton, GA, and was retired after 33 years from Marine Corps Logistic Base Albany, where he received many awards and certificates associated with his job in Water/Wastewater Operations. He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. Steve’s love of music and singing allowed him to minister in music to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, churches, and civic groups in whatever community he lived in. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Anne H. Sellers. Children, Darrell Steven (Karen) Sellers, and Alexander Eugene (Christina) Marshall. Grandchildren, Megan (Liam) Lui, Monica (Mitch) Willis, Neill (Brittney) Marshall, Catherine (Kyle) Brumbley, and Chloe (Jonathan) Dyke. Great Grandchildren, Tukker Willis, Emery Willis, Collin Willis, Hunter Brumbley, and Abbey Dyke. Siblings, Emory Joe (Becky) Sellars, Melissa (Tom) Holley, and Alex (Katrina) Sellars. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 11:00AM before the service in the church. Donations may be made to Gideons International, Twiggs County Camp, P.O.
