Richard Wayne Willis MACON, GA - Richard Wayne Willis, 71, passed away October 18, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held Thursday October 21, 2021 at 11 am in the chapel of Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville. Rev. Charles Carter will be officiating. Burial will be the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Cochran, GA. Mr. Willis was born in San Antonio TX to the late Leslie Newman Willis and Mildred Gertrude Johnson Willis. He had been living in Macon for the past 34 years, moving here from Idaho. Mr. Willis was a retired truck driver for Gateway trucking. He attended and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Wynell Tidwell Willis; son Curtis (Patti) Ross; daughter Rebecca Willis; sisters, Mary Ruth Willis and Barbara Ann Willis; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.
