Robert R. “Randy” Rozier
JEFFERSONVILLE – Robert Randolph Rozier, Sr, better known as Randy and called Papa by his very favorite people, passed away in Dublin on June 7, 2025 at the age of 72. He was a lifelong resident of Jeffersonville, GA.
Services will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 11:00AM at Jeffersonville Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Rozier Family Cemetery in Twiggs County. Rev. Steve Hamrick and Rev. Tom Alexander will officiate.
Mr. Rozier was born in Macon, GA the son of the late Ezra Eugene “Gus” Rozier and Audrey Gay Rozier. He was preceded in death by his brother Thomas “Tommy” Rozier. Randy was a retired Manager for J.E. Beck & Son Hardware Stores and worked with his son in their family business Rozier Forest Products. He was a Master Mason and a member of Cool Spring Masonic Lodge #185 and was a member of New Providence Baptist Church.
Randy was known for his ability to make a friend wherever he goes and for his deep devotion to his family. A man of steady faith and unwavering love, he built a life rooted in integrity and loyalty. Whether he was fixing something on the property, cheering on his grandkids, or sharing a story that made everyone laugh, Randy had a way of making those around him feel safe and seen.
He spent his career working hard and prided himself on a job well done. He was a loving husband, a proud father, and the kind of Papa every child dreams of having—present, patient, and always ready with a piece of gum or a hug.
Randy loved the simple things in life: a well-cooked meal, ranger rides around his property, and time spent at the cabin with those he loved most. His legacy lives on in the values he passed down and the memories he made with his family and friends.
Survivors include his Wife, Donna W. Rozier. His children, Robert R. “Rusty” (Katie) Rozier, Jr. and Marcel “Marcy” R. Edney. His grandchildren, Makenzie Edney, Sarah Helen Rozier, Rand Rozier, and Will Rozier. His brothers, Michael (Ginny) Rozier and John (Debby) Rozier, his sister-in-law, Vicki Rozier, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Monday in the funeral home.
