Ms. Johns was born in Orange, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her father Freddie I. Johns, Sr., and her half brother Freddie I. Johns, Jr. She was a retired over the road Truck driver.

She leaves behind her Mother, Willa Jean Cherry Johns of Cadwell, GA. Her brothers, Jimmie Johns of Toomsboro, GA, and Robbie Johns of Jeffersonville, GA. Her sister, Sandra “Sam” Johns of Cadwell, GA. Her half sister, Charlotte Perry of Jacksonville, FL
