Sanders Oral Hall DANVILLE, GA – Like the Psalmist David, Sanders Oral Hall, after he had served his own generation by the will of God fell on sleep Friday August 21, 2018. Most of his 92 years was lived on Old Macon Road, Danville, Georgia. He was blessed to stay at his home until his death. He was the oldest child born to Oral L. and Myrtle Sanders Hall. During World War II he served in the U.S. Army from 1943-1945 and was honorably discharged at the end of the war. He was married to his sweetheart, Ruth Allen Hall, and they were married for 71 years. She preceded him in death by one year and eight months. He served his family well. He is survived by his children, Garry (Barbara) Hall, Nancy (Tommy) Sarber, Dan (Beverly) Hall, Glenn (Tina) Hall and Lenn (Jan) Hall. 12 Grandchildren, David (Kim) Hall, Brent (Audrey) Hall, Joshua Hall, Laura (Win) Kuck, Sarah (Tim) Davies, Jeremy (Danae) Sarber, Jody (Megan) Sarber, Amanda (Caleb) Howell, Christina (Josh) Howell, Seth Hall, Andrew Hall, Ben Hall. 13 Great grandchildren, Mallory Hall, Brody Hall, Garrett Hall, Alec Kuck, Carson Kuck, Jesse Kuck, Cole Davies, Jace Davies, Emerson Sarber, Ainsley Sarber, Elias Howell, Amelia Howell, Norah Sarber, Moxley Howell. One Brother, Charles P. Hall. Farming was his occupation, and he loved it. When his cattle were sold shortly before his death, he told the family it was the first time since he was 9 years old that he had not owned a cow. During this time he served on several ASCS and farm committees. He served his community as a director of Oconee EMC from 1962 – 1983. He was a member of his beloved Pleasant Plains Primitive Baptist Church for most of his adult life, where he served several years as deacon and treasurer. He led his family in worship at the house of God. Visitation will be Thursday night from 6 to 8 at Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville. Funeral services will be at Pleasant Plains Primitive Baptist Church Friday August 24, 2018 at 2:00PM, wih Elder Michael Hataway and Elder Franklin Bryant officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. His grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. The family would also like to thank three extraordinary caregivers, Mary Alywine, Eve Johnson,and Matilda Hightower.
