MACON – Stevie Chess Joyner, 72, of Henderson Rd., passed away Friday December 6, 2024 in Macon.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday December 11, 2024 at 2:00PM at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens in Macon. Rev. Dusty Elliott will officiate.

Mr. Joyner was born in Macon, GA the son of the late Columbus Chess Joyner and Lila Ruth Sanders Joyner. Stevie was the widow of the late Barbara Bethune Joyner and was preceded in death by his son George Ivey and his sister Sheila Eubanks. He was a self employed mechanic.

Survivors include his children, Tyler Joyner, Mandy (Darryl) Goetz, and Sherry (Sam) Blalock. His sisters, Kaye Hall, Faye Weinstein and Judy Saffer. Grandchildren, Dillion Goetz, Devin Goetz, Madisun Goetz, Alex McIntosh, Megan (Chad) McCrary, and Gavin Ivey.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday in the funeral home.
