JEFFERSONVILLE – Sylvia Michele Ramette Slaughter, 80, of District Rd., passed away Saturday March 15, 2025 in Macon.

Services will be held Saturday April 5, 2025 at 11:00 am, at Jeffersonville Baptist Church. Rev. Daniel Wright will officiate.

Mrs. Slaughter was born in Milford, Connecticut the daughter of the late Albert Ramette and Doris Ouelette Ramette. Sylvia was a retired School Teacher. She was an Educator in many Middle Georgia School Systems including Laurens Co./Dublin, Bleckley Co./Cochran, and Twiggs Academy/Jeffersonville. She was an active member of Jeffersonville Baptist Church where she served in many areas including church pianist.

Survivors include, her Husband of almost 54 years Jeff Slaughter; Daughter- Rebekah (Slaughter) Lamb and her Spouse Thomas Lamb; Son-Michael Slaughter and his Spouse Tracey Slaughter; Chandon Mobley; Grandchildren- Madison (Slaughter) Garner-Spouse SFC Dylan Garner & McKenna Slaughter (Michael Slaughter); George Slaughter - spouse Ashley Slaughter; Joseph Mobley, Silas Mobley & Conner Mobley; Great-Grandchildren- Kallen Garner & Martin Slaughter; Sister- Janice (Ramette) Zebell.
