DANVILLE, GA – Vera Brown Williams, 87, of 4th St., passed away Friday in Dublin.

Services will be held Tuesday November 21, 2023 at 11:00AM in Reece Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jeff Alligood and Rev. Billy Wicker will officiate.

Mrs. Williams was born in Nicklesville, GA the daughter of the late John Thomas Brown and Valeria Adel Pierce Brown. She was the widow of the late Birties Alvoy Williams. She was preceded in death by her Sister, Eugenia (Aaron) Brown Rickerson, her Brothers, James (Myrtle) Brown and Thomas (Florence) Brown, and Nephew Jerry (Marion) Rickerson. Vera was a member of the Danville United Methodist Church, the Order of Eastern Star and the Woodman of the World.

Survivors include her Sister, Stella Kay (Allen) Wrye, Nieces and Nephews, Melinda (Mark) Taylor, Jeanette (Charles) McAdams, Janice (Alan) Thiese, and James Terry Brown. Several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews whom she adored and loved them all.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 11:00AM Tuesday before services in the funeral home.
