Virginia Ruth Gilman MILLEDGEVILLE – Virginia Ruth “Ginnie” Gilman, 74, of Collins Rd, passed away Monday in Macon. Services will be private. Mrs. Gilman was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, the daughter of the late James Charles Ruthers, and Pearl Virginia Ruth Schrader Ruthers. “Ginnie” was a former School Teacher with the Laurens County Board of Education and was a member of the Cadwell Baptist Church in Cadwell, GA. Survivors include her husband, Donald Ray Gilman. Children, Hope (Robert) Owens, Joel (Teresa Moore) Spires, and Stephen (Chase Seay) Spires. Step children, Kenneth Bennett, Chris Bennett, Connie Long, Johnny Bennett, Mitchell Bennett, Kurt Bennett, and Rae Parker.
