William Ashley “Lee” Howard

COCHRAN, GA - William Ashley “Lee” Howard, 58, of Peter St. passed away June 15, 2026 in Augusta.

The family will receive friends from 5:00PM to 7:00PM on Friday June 19, 2026 in The First Methodist Church in Cochran. A private graveside service will be held Saturday June 20, 2026 at the Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Howard was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and grew up and lived in Cochran his entire life. He was the son of the late Leslie Thomas Howard and Brenda Kate Lockridge Howard. Lee was a 1985 graduate of Bleckley County High School. He earned his associates degree from Middle Georgia College where he was active in many areas including the Vocal Ensemble, and his bachelor’s of science degree in Accounting from Berry College. He was a retired Internal Auditor with Rollins Inc. Lee was a former Vice President of the Diamond Club and was active in the Men’s Club and the Cochran Jaycees. He was a member of First Methodist Church, Cochran.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Roszell Howard. His daughter, Elizabeth Howard. His son, A.J. Howard. His brother Leslie T. “Les” (Mandi) Howard.
