William Jack Stone

DRY BRANCH – William Jack Stone, 81 of Old Franklinton Rd. passed away Saturday at his residence. A Gathering of Family and Friends, to Celebrate Jacks Life will be held Monday June 18, 2018 at 2PM at his residence Mr. Stone was born April 9, 1937 in Dry Branch, GA, the son of the late Wilbur and Claudia Floyd Stone. He was preceded in death by his daughter Sherry Stone, Grandchildren, Angela Jackson, Ashley and Jeffrey McKuhen, Great Grand Children, Taylor Bowen and Caitland Higdon, His brothers, Sonny, George, Terry, John, and Jerald Stone, His Sister, Lois Adkins, and his Son in Law Alan Helmuth. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War. Jack was a retired Maintenance Supervisor with Rock Tenn Mill. He loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Joann D. Stone. Son, Jack Buddy (Amanda) Stone of Elberton, GA. Daughters, Dianne Lucas and Austin of Dry Branch, Jackie Helmuth of Gray, Beverly (Mark) Jackson of Dry Branch. Sisters, Sara S. Brown, Dale Vilona, and Wilma Cookie Davis. Brothers, Joe Stone and Richard Stone. Twelve Grandchildren and Nineteen Great Grandchildren.
